Public admission starts Thursday afternoon

Frieze London and Frieze Masters run October 14–18 in Regent's Park, but Wednesday, October 14 is invitation-only. On Thursday, members and invitees receive the 11 a.m.–1 p.m. preview window; general admission starts at 1 p.m.

Friday and Saturday hours are 11 a.m.–7 p.m. at both fairs, and Sunday is 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Frieze London closes at 5 p.m. on Thursday while Frieze Masters remains open until 7 p.m.

Two sites, two postcodes and a timed order

Frieze London is in the south of the park, entered from Park Square West at NW1 4LL. Frieze Masters is on Gloucester Green near London Zoo at NW1 4HA. Frieze describes the walk between them as about 15 minutes and says a complimentary shuttle is scheduled about every 15 minutes.

A combined ticket is not an invitation to enter either fair in any order. Visitors must begin with the fair and entry time printed at checkout, then visit the other fair. General-admission tickets are date- and time-specific, last entry is 30 minutes before closing and re-entry is not allowed.

The purchasing and access checklist

Early-bird tickets are sold out and remaining tickets are online-only. Student tickets are combined tickets, require valid ID and are limited. Children ages 2–17 need advance child tickets, which the FAQ says are available only on weekends from 2 p.m.; children under 2 do not need a ticket.

The fair says both sites are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Wheelchairs are available first-come, first-served, and free companion or carer tickets must be arranged after the admission ticket is booked. Large bags over the published size limit are not admitted, and backpacks must be carried by hand rather than worn.

What each fair is selling

Frieze London focuses mainly on contemporary work made after 2000. Frieze Masters covers historical work made before 2000, with a limited later cutoff for artists born before 1950. That distinction is more useful for planning than treating the event as one interchangeable fair.

Admission buys access to galleries and programs; it does not reserve a specific artwork or guarantee that any work remains available for purchase.
