AFP found no evidence supporting the allegation. The story originated with a political parody account that identifies its posts as satire.
As the claim spread to other accounts, users copied it without the satire label. That made a fictional post appear to be a genuine report from a military source.

Real concerns do not validate a false post
Concerns from sailors’ families about living conditions aboard the ship are separate from the NDA allegation and should not be dismissed. Families have raised complaints involving plumbing, water supplies and mental-health pressures during the deployment.
Military officials have disputed several of the most severe online claims. But disagreement over shipboard conditions does not transform a satire post into evidence of a secret legal order.
