What the job involves
- Representative work includes identifying and analyzing administrative problems, collecting data, recommending solutions, preparing reports and reviewing departmental budget requests.

Minimum qualifications
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration or a related field and one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of training, certification and experience.
- A background check is required. The city lists local-government experience and a master's degree in a related field as highly desirable, and says a California Class C driver's license may be required.
