What the job involves

• Level II requires the Level I qualifications plus two additional years of experience equivalent to the city's Construction Inspector I class. The completed application, resume and supplemental questionnaire must document the qualifications.
• The employer page is internally inconsistent: its description lists September 10 at 1 p.m. as the closing date, while the required supplemental questionnaire says September 9 at 1 p.m. Applicants should use the earlier September 9 deadline unless the City of Bakersfield formally clarifies the discrepancy.
